Our Roots

According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, a “catalyst” is an agent that provokes or speeds significant change or action. Put simply, we are out to change the world. By offering an alternative to the traditional advertising agency, we act as a catalyst for meaningful change and have been practicing mindful marketing for over 10 years. The foundation of our business has been built on four core values:

Our founder, Jason Russell, was born in the legendary Haight-Ashbury district of San Francisco and has been on the path towards a broader, deeper consciousness ever since. At the age of twelve, Jason moved to Idaho, where he put down roots with his family. Through his natural ability to build rapport, he began establishing a network of long-standing relationships.

Before creating Catalyst Advertising, Jason worked in sales and management for the Boise Weekly and at the Boise Independent TV station and the ABC affiliate where he acquired extensive media knowledge. This experience exposed him to alternative culture as well as mainstream media, leading to an open-minded and insightful perspective.

First and foremost, Jason is an entrepreneur who is dedicated to the creation of a thriving business that serves the community. He has a particular passion for the entrepreneurial spirit, especially one dedicated to making a positive contribution in our world.
